Missions in the Community
As we seek to be a people taking part in the mission of God, we desire all members of our church to be actively extending God’s word by sharing our gifts, serving in mission, and drawing others to the love of God.
OUR COMMITMENT TO MISSIONS
As Christians, we are called to follow the example of Jesus by helping people in need. Jesus was concerned about people’s physical needs as well as their spiritual ones, and commanded his followers to be concerned about them, too.
If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit?? (James 2:15-16)
