Music Programs

(Please note that many music programs do not meet over the summer.)

Chancel Choir

Chancel Choir meets Wednesday, 7:30-8:30 p.m., in the Sanctuary, directed by Justin Petersen.

All adults are invited to join this choir that provides worship leadership at the 8 and 11 a.m. services on Sunday mornings. Chancel Choir also prepares weekly anthems and Christmas and Easter cantatas.

Carillon Bells

Carillon Bells meets Wednesday, 6:30-7:30 p.m., in the Choir Room.

This adult handbell ensemble, directed by Justin Petersen, requires some musical expertise, such as the ability to read music. Carillon shares their musical gifts in worship once a month.

Blended Worship Team

The Blended Worship Team leads worship for the Contemporary Service at 9:30 a.m. It is directed by Justin Petersen. If you are interested in being part of this group, please contact Rich Bruhn, the Assistant Director of Music.

Sonbeamers

Sonbeamers meets weekly on Wednesdays, 6-6:45 p.m., in the Science Room.

This choir is for children from age 4 through 3rd grade and is directed by Jane Hull. Sonbeamers sing once per month in worship on the 4th Sunday.

Youth Praise Band

This group for high school students, directed by Tara Sheridan, meets Sunday afternoons from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Aldersgate UMC Church Directory

Aldersgate’s Church Directory (for members and constituents only) is now online. You can access it through the menu link under About Us, or by using a free mobile app for your smart phone. You will need to use the email address listed in our directory to create a log-in the first time you use it. Please contact the Directory Administrator at directory@aldersgatechurch.org if you are not listed, need help, or have any questions.

Security is always a concern. Your account is protected by a username and password that only you should know. Search engines do not crawl any of the directory data located within the password‐protected portion. Only active members and constituents of Aldersgate UMC have access to our directory information.
