Who We Are

The vision for AWAKENING was developed by church leadership with a purpose of connecting people together in a community dedicated to becoming followers of Christ. Notice that we say "becoming", because although we all seek a devoted life, we acknowledge that we are yet to reach our fullest potential. AWAKENING was launched as our Saturday Night Worship service in March 2006. On Saturdays you will find today's music, a casual atmosphere, a relevant message, and opportunities to connect with others. Come join us, and remember “Life is a Journey, not a destination.” Hope to see you there!

Groups

Groups are a short-term way to experience life in a group with other people from church. We know it can be uncomfortable (and even scary!) to meet new people, so you can expect that we won't ask you to do "anything weird". We try to make this experience as comfortable as possible. Yes, that means there will be an easy exit ramp also – you won’t be trapped to meet with these people beyond the session length (but you might have so much fun that you'll hate to see it end).

Contact Ginny Parr if you are ready to connect!

Band

Our Saturday night worship service is led by the AWAKENING band,  a group of musicians and vocalists that bring us to the Altar through worship each week.  We have acoustic drums, electric and acoustic guitarists, a bass player, a worship leader, and accompanying vocalists playing songs from popular Christian music artists that can be heard today on Christian Radio stations. Contact our Worship Leader if you are interested in playing in the band.

If you want to bring your Bible you can, or there will be Bibles on the tables that you can use.

Where do I park?

There are spaces marked VISITOR in front of the entrances. You may enter the Fellowship Hall through the smaller double doors.
