Kathy is a wife, mother, and grandmother, while also managing a full time jewelry business. Kathy's humor and love for life is contagious! She loves public and motivational speaking, wishing to bring encouragement and hope, with laughter, to women of all ages and all backgrounds; believing that each one of us has been created with worth, value, and a special calling. Kathy will speak on "How to Live Well in an Unwell World" at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.
Karen has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. This past summer she was honored to play the role of Rose in Music Theatre of Wichita's production of Gypsy, and you may have seen her in other productions over the years. In her other life, Karen is Director of Children and Youth Ministries for University Congregational Church, where she has directed Children of Eden, Cotton Patch Gospel, and Tuesdays with Morrie. Karen is one third of the way through a Master of Divinity degree at Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa; only 3 more years and you can call her Reverend! Karen will speak on "Finding God" at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
