Career Seekers Support Group

The loss of a job can mean loss of income, loss of self esteem, and loss of confidence. If you, or someone you know, is looking for a job or career change, Career Seekers’ Support Group offers career guidance and job search assistance. Career Seekers also offers support and guidance to those recently retired or anticipating retirement.
The Career Seekers’ Support Group is currently making arrangements to meet virtually by Zoom, start date TBD. These meetings will be led by Carla Heitman, Coordinator, and Jan Mead, Career Counselor. They will provide a shared learning experience, as well as offering encouragement to each other. Email if you are interested in being part of a Zoom meeting. Please indicate your preference for morning, noon, or evening, and what day(s) of the week would work best for you. Instructions to join the Zoom meeting will be provided.
For individual assistance with resume, job search correspondence, interview coaching, or other career guidance and/or job search needs, contact Jan Mead at, or call the church office at 316-722-8504.
