12/06 – Children’s Christmas Pageant

Come join the Aldersgate kids as they present this year’s Christmas pageant: A King is Coming to Town. The performance will be on Saturday, December 6 @ 6:30 p.m., and again on Sunday, December 7 during the 11 a.m. worship service.

11/13 – United Women in Faith

For November, the United Women in Faith will have a World Thank Offering celebration @ 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Please bring a brunch dish to share, and if you have been using a World Thank Offering bank, this is the time to bring it in.

Lost and Found

Missing something? Be sure to check in the office to see if we have it. Found items are kept for one month, and then donated or thrown away.

Free Counseling

Rev. Jim Goodbye, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist on staff at Aldersgate, has offered to provide free counseling. If you would like more information, please contact him at jim@aldersgatechurch.org.

Men’s Coffee Group

The Aldersgate Men’s Coffee Group meets early Wednesday mornings @ 7:30 a.m. in room 15. The coffee is always ready by 7 a.m., so come early for the fellowship. Every other week there is also a special program. To get email reminders, please contact Don Sutcliffe.

Family Promise

Aldersgate takes turns supporting Hope Mennonite by helping out as they house adults and children experiencing homelessness. Those wanting to participate need to take online training. Our annual Charge Conference is Sunday, November 9, 2:30 p.m. @ St. Marks UMC. All United Methodist churches in the South Central Kansas District will be there. Every member has a vote and a voice, and we would love for you to join us!

Aldersgate UMC Church Directory

Aldersgate’s Church Directory (for members and constituents only) is now online. You can access it here, through the menu link under About Us, or by using a free mobile app for your smart phone. You will need to use the email address listed in our directory to create a log-in the first time you use it. You can request a login using this form. Please contact Tara in the church office if you need help, or have any questions.

Security is always a concern. Your account is protected by a username and password that only you should know. Search engines do not crawl any of the directory data located within the password‐protected portion. Only active members and constituents of Aldersgate UMC have access to our directory information.
